During the Rollerski World Championships , FIS has assigned the last valid competition for the World Cup 2002 of rollerski. A very hard map, 6 kilometers and half long that brings from the 1025 meters of altitude of Antey Saint-Andrè to the 1530 of Torgnon. The rollerskiers are divided into two categories (master I and master II) and have challenged for the last appointment of the season. Heinrich Hau wins and with 100 conquered points overcomes the forehand adversary, the Russian Nikolai Barkalov – just to the seventh place to the Torgnon finish line, and conquers o the speciality World Cup. Third place in the general placing for the other Russian, Alexei Ilovski while the great Italian athlete for today is Vittorino Corso (2° classified and 5° in Cup behind Roberto Villa, fourth in general classification).
Among the Masters II the very strong Italian rollerskier Walter Tedesco win with two competitions to his asset only and has to be satisfied to the 5° place in World Cup conquered by the German Uwe Riesen,arrived behind the Italian, athlete but before the other Italian Antonio Gnata. Fourth place for the Russian Alexandre Elisseev that placed to the second place in general classification before of the teammate Victor Gulyaev.
