Incerti I tempi di recupero per Unni Odegaard 

Mercoledì 1 settembre 2004 - Apprendiamo dal sito www.fasterskier.com (in fondo alla pagina potete trovare l’articolo in originale) che non è ancora sicuro quanto tempo ci vorrà affinchè Unni Odegaard possa riprendersi dopo che è stata investita da un’auto durante un allenamento con gli skiroll.
Unni è ancora ricoverata in ospedale. Suo padre fa sapere che la figlia si sta lentamente riprendendo, ma non è dato a sapersi entro quanto tempo si rimetterà del tutto: "Unni ha subito una seria commozione cerebrale e ora necessita molto riposo. Di sicuro sarà necessario un lungo periodo di riabilitazione. Il colpo alla testa necessita un’accurata guarigione e Unni in futuro dovrà stare molto attenta".
Roy, il papà, pensa che la figlia dovrà rimanere ancora per due settimane in ospedale prima di poter iniziare un programma di riabillitazione.
Oltre alla commozione cerebrale, Unni lamenta problemi muscolari ad una gamba; non riesce a camminare con questa gamba, ma riesce ad alzarsi dal letto e stare seduta.

Uncertain Recovery Time For Unni Odegaard

Wednesday Sep 01 - It is very uncertain how long time it will take before Unni Odegaard is functioning normally again following her rollerski accident two weeks ago.
Unni is still in the hospital. Her father, Roy Odegaard says that Unni is slowly recovering, but it is still very uncertain when she will be fully rehabilitated.
"She got a serious concussion and needs to take it easy for a long time. The time frame is very uncertain, but it’s clear that it will be a lengthy recovery and rehabilitation"- says Roy Odegaard.
The head injury needs to heal on its own and Unni needs to be careful and take it easy in the near future. Roy believes that his daughter will spend another two weeks at the hospital before she can start rehabilitation training.
One leg suffered muscle damage in addition to the concussion. Unni can still not walk on that leg, but is able to get out of bed and is mostly sitting up at the hospital.
